Samsung UN46D6000 Review - Page 2

Google Maps Internet App on the D6000

Value Rating: 8.5/10

Price Considerations: At $1250 at local retailers and as low as $1100 online from authorized Internet dealers, this is a compelling mid range LED-backed LCD with excellent HD video quality, super thin design, and lots of Internet Apps. Video quality wanes somewhat with non-HD signals and viewing angle contrast degradation is a concern. Competition comes from the Sony KDL46EX620.

Overall Rating: 8.25/10

Calibration Notes: The Samsung UND6000 has a 10 point white balance control but lacks Hue, Saturation and Brightness controls for Color Gamut fine tuning. Gamma was nearly perfect right out of the box at 2.2. Calibration went smoothly and color saturation levels were much more controlled than last years model.
