Vizio XVT3D424SVT Features Review
The XVT3D series from Vizio are a line of 3D capable, LED backlit LCD televisions. Vizio advertises a 480Hz LCD panel but in reality it's a 240Hz panel with a scanning backlight, this technique has been used by many manufacturers to advertise double the actual refresh rate of the TV. More often than not this feature is one we turn off, it does help with judder but the adverse effects it imparts on the picture are not worth the judder reduction.
The XVT3D series includes Vizio's internet apps, the built in WiFi allows easy network setup and access to many online features such as Netflix streaming movies, Facebook, Twitter, Pandora Internet Radio, Yahoo widgets and more. A bluetooth remote with a full, slide-out QWERTY keyboard complete the online features of this TV which are among the stongest in the market.
SRS Trusurround is included for audio enhancement and SRS Truvolume will keep those overly loud commercials from blasting you off the sofa or waking the entire family, this is a feature we are always happy to see in a television.
The XVT3D series looks to be feature rich package and it being a Vizio keeps it in an afforadble price bracket.
