The back of the EX720 shows the recessed area for the side facing inputs but also shows that the rear facing inputs are both not recessed and facing straight out and not down or to the side. If the television is wall mounted reaching these inputs will be quite inconvenient and if cables with a 90° connector are not used the TV will not be able to be mounted as close to the wall.
