This 42" CCFL back lit LCD TV eschews many high end features to come in at a low price point around $500. It still has Full HD 1080p resolution where some budget price models only go up to 720p resolution. The television's design is understated but still good looking and at 42" is a large enough size to be the main TV in a lot of homes. Competition comes from models like the Samsung LN40D550 and the LG 42LK520.
