Samsung 46" LED TV
Based on favorable reviews, price, and available features I chose a Samsung 46 LED TV. Upon connecting it to a cable box and av receiver it delivered crisp pictures and excellent sound quality. The wireless Internet connection was easy and the Smart Hub feature is quick to be familar with its capabilities.

We've had our new Samsung HDTV for almost a month now and I still find my mouth dropping to the floor when I sit on the couch to watch tv. The picture clarity is beautiful. This is really my first "true" HDTV. Until now, we had a 32" Samsung and I recently learned that anything smaller than a 42" does not do HD justice. I believe that to be true.
The 46" is just the right size for our living room. I read some reviews regarding the "soap opera effect" and I have to say that I kind of like it. It makes the people look as if they are really standing just a few feet away from me. This tv is internet-ready and features Samsung's Smart Hub. At first I had some problems with this feature actually working. It can be rather slow at times. However, I moved my router around a bit and it connects to my wireless connection just fine now. Netflix streams perfectly too! I haven't tried any of the social apps yet.

This is a really great TV and a quality product, but it's not without its flaws. Out of the box it isn't nearly as impressive as it can be. It took a couple of weeks of tweaking the settings so that the motion looked right and wasn't glitchy, and so that it didn't have the "soap opera" look. That being said, the picture is now stunning and meets my expectations.
The only other issue I have is with backlight bleeding. If you're watching anything with a 16:9 ratio you won't notice it, but when you watch a movie with hard matting (black bars) it is very noticable in all four corners of the screen. Its not awful, and generally doesn't affect the picture quality, but its annoying.

Used in family room as an everyday tv for cable and movies. Astounding picture, it's not a 3D TV but the depth of the picture is simply amazing. I love the Samsung Smart HUB. With the TV hooked to the internet (as I have it) streaming movies are at your fingertips and picture quality is excellent.
Beautiful picture, worked right out of the box
Pros: Was easy to set up beautiful picture and was almost all I expected
Cons: Manual is lacking allot of information and poorly written, such as if the remote can be used to control a samsung blueraydvd, or if you can save a youtube video like you can on the dvd, or how to navagate thru the internet functions
