JVC JLE47BC3001 E-LED Review

47" Black Crystal LED TV

BlackCrystal is the name JVC is using for their flagship line of LED back lit LCD televisions, the BlackCrystal E-LED line has the same features as the normal BlackCrystal televisions but uses LED edge lighting for a slimmer depth. With "CrystalMotion" 120Hz processing and many of the features the JLE47BC3001 has lots of bells and whistles yet still comes in at a value price.

Picture and Viewing Features

The BlackCrystal series televisions have LED back lighting and 120Hz processing that JVC is calling CrystalMotion. It also features a color boosting technology named CrystalColor that will probably appeal to viewer who like a more saturated look. It has an auto diming mode for energy savings and a game mode that bypasses the picture processing to virtually eliminate input lag when playing games.

Appearance

The JLE47BC3001 has a glossy black bezel surrounding the screen and a lighter colored strip along the bottom. The E in E-LED means the TV is LED edge lit instead of LED back lit, this cuts over an inch off the overall depth of the television.

The JLE47BC3001 does not feature internet connectivity.
