LG's Infinia series of LED TVs is on display at CES, the flagship 47LE9500 is all picture with a barely there 8.5 mm bezel surrounding the LED backlit panel that features LG's TruLED local dimming technology. The LE9500 series is also the first 3D ready line of televisions from LG and is THX certified as well.
The 47" 1080p panel sports 480Hz picture processing with LG's built in picture wizard technology to help you get the best possible picture out of your television and at less than 1" deep it will look great on your wall. Wireless HD capability will get rid of that mass of cables while wireless networking allows access to LG NetCast feature bringing Netflix, Skype, Napster, Youtube and more directly to your TV screen. 2 USB ports allow for even more video and picture sources to be brought into play. Clear Voice II enhances the sound while AV Mode II allows custom settings for various media types such as sports, movies and video games.
LG's new "Magic Wand" remote reportedly ups the level of interactivity with an improved user interface, built in games and the ability to control your TV with gestures similar to the Nintendo Wii.
This was certainly one of the most beautiful and coveted TVs at CES 2010 and was a major showcase of the LG display.
