LG brings the slim profile, energy efficiency and better picture performance of LED edge lighting to smaller screen sizes with the LE5300 line of LED TVs. The 37 and 32 inch sizes are full HD 1080p panels that feature LG's TruMotion 120Hz. We haven't been overly impressed with the effect 120Hz processing has on the picture during film content. 120Hz does help with motion blur but some versions of this technology have tendency to remove perceived depth from the picture.
The LE5300 line comes equipped with LG's Core Technologies such as the Picture Wizard which walks you through setting up an optimized image, Clear Voice II which boosts the dialog and really makes quite a difference when watching with the volume low. AV Mode II switches pictures settings between modes optimized for movies, sports, games or regular programming.
