LG 42LH55

LG 47LH55 Review

For hyper action gaming, the 240Hz TruMotion technology might be a useful feature. The new feature for 2009 uses a new scanning backlight technique to attempt to improve motion picture response time. In other words, the technology is there to decrease motion lag which has been a continual and nagging problem for LCD TVs for years. We'll see if it works. The 120Hz TruMotion technology from 2008/2009 models does decrease motion lag time but also introduces a lot of background information that can be distracting. We recommend these increase Hz rate response time technologies only for sports programming and gaming.

This panel is Full 1080p with the new ISFccc ready calibration system. LG does a very nice job with calibration and menu settings. There are 4 HDMI inputs. See the full 42LH55 review here.
