This new sleek Sony ZX1M series is scheduled to begin shipping in December of 2008. The LCDs will have an LED backlight, no speakes, and no internal tuner. "It's a specially designed super thin LCD monitor for special purposes - such as custom installers that want to create the video input system," states Robert Wiley. The LCDs will have 1 HDMI input and no intenal box. They include the Bravia 2 processing engine, 120Hz processing speed, and most importantly a 9 millimeter depth.
