LCD TV Buying Guide Commentary
In the picture above the first thing that should jump out at you is the Blu Ray disc stuck in the side of the TV. Sharp's LC-32BD80U has a built in Blu Ray player. This is the perfect solution when you want to mount your TV in an area where you can't put bulky outboard components. We don't have any specifications on the Blu Ray player yet but it being built into the TV is pretty exciting.
Along with the built in Blu Ray, the Aquos LC-32BD80U features Sharp's Advanced Super View anti-glare panel at 1080p resolution. Controling motion lag is Sharp's Fine Motion 120Hz technology. You won't need to plug in a Blu Ray player but there are 4 HDMI inputs and 2 component inputs for all your other video sources. We are looking forward to testing the performance of the BD80U series LCDs in the coming months.
