Samsung F6300 Expert Picture Settings Calibrations
by Robert Wiley, Senior Editor

A television in the process of being calibrated before we begin our review.
F6300 Calibration Notes: The F6300 calibrates to D6500K very easlity with help from the 10 point white balance. A complete Color Management System can also be used that includes luminance for each color. The menu system makes it very easy and intuitive for any user to achieve this. For a more natural looking picture that is suited for dimly lit to darker rooms on the F6300 try following the below description. It may initially look dim and subdued compared to the preset picture mode settings, but much more natural. However, the below recommended settings do not remove the natural background blur of the images. Unless there is a lot of window light coming into the room these settings should work well. If that is the case try turning up the backlight and if that still is not bright enough then go to the Standard setting. You would only need these options.
Calibration Equipment: Sencore OTC1000 Meter, AV Foundry VideoForge Source, Direct Display Control
