Though there are no release dates yet, this LCD promises backlighting from 128 LED bulbs rather than standard flourescent style backlighting. This will increase brightness considerably. Contrast is 1,000,000:1 (dynamic). The unit will have 4ms response time and 500cd/m2 brightness. There are 4 HDMI inputs with 1080p resolution and 24hz rate processing.
