The LG 42LK450 LCD TV is not LED backlit obviously and this saves you money. It does not offer 3D TV compatibility, Internet TV capability, or any of the high end features that increase the price of TVs a lot. But value wise this is a very compelling choice for the video gamers out there due to the anti glare LCD screen and good uniformity. Prices range from $579 - $699. This TV is 60Hz and does not have the upgraded 120HZ refresh rate. Competition is from the Panasonic TC-P42S30 Plasma.
