Samsung LED TVs Surprise Early to Arrive in 2012 with Late February Release Date

Many models of Samsung UN series LED TVs have already begun to arrive in the US and Canadian markets this week. Though most of the models arriving are in the lower tier of Samsung's offerings for 2012, it is a surprise to many that they are already here, and selling in advance of the Samsung Release Party in New York early March.

Of the new models releasing this month, only smaller sizes are being sold with the larger models starting to arrive next month. There is one 55” model already here – the Samsung UN55EH6000 which is retailing for around $1399. In all, about 6 models are already for sale and many more have pre-orders being taken by major retailers such as Amazon, JR.com, and Vanns. None of the LED TVs that are currently being sold are 3D Compatible but they do have the new Samsung Smart TV feature. Another series slated to arrive early by Samsung is the EH5300 series for which there are 3 sizes. These are basic 60Hz LED backed LCD TVs and are very similar to the EH5000 series in features:

We expect prices on many of these models to drop in 2012 to be more competitive with other models in the market place in these sizes.
